Taigh Alasdair is a traditional stone-built croft house situated in the crofting township of Peinchorran in the Braes area of Skye. It sits in its own private garden with off-road parking.
The house has magnificent views of Raasay and the Inner Sound of Raasay and looks onto the mainland of Scotland. You can also see Glamaig in the Red Cuillin Range and the Black Cuillins.
From Peinchorran you can walk along the north shoreline of Loch Sligachan and around to the east to the Inner Sound of Raasay. Braes has a lovely sandy beach at Aird which is only one mile from the house.
Portree, 9 miles to the north is the nearest town which has a good range of shops.
